Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier visited RESOL
On 23 September, RESOL had the great honour of welcoming a very special guest: Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier visited our production facility in Hattingen as part of his „Ortszeit Deutschland“ initiative. As part of the „Ortszeit“ programme, the Federal President temporarily relocates his official seat to different cities across Germany, conducts his official duties from there and seeks to establish a direct dialogue with local people and organisations.
The President gets hands-on 🔧
Accompanied by two young apprentices, President Steinmeier took part in the assembly of electronic components on printed circuit boards in our THT production.
In his closing speech, President Steinmeier said:
“The economy in the Ruhr area has always been characterised by innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, and it continues to be so today – that, too, is something I have learnt here amongst you. I was particularly impressed, for example, by my visit to RESOL; a company that manufactures control technology for solar, heating and energy systems and which, over the past few decades, has repeatedly developed new technologies with courage and foresight, thereby gaining a foothold in the global market.”
