Efficiency and sustainability

The DeltaSol® MX Plus is a versatile multifunction controller for complex solar, heating and combined systems. Its many functions make it a real allrounder: be it a solar system with multiple stores, collector fields and heating circuits or a hybrid system with a solid fuel boiler and backup heating via heat pump – the application possibilities of the DeltaSol® MX Plus leave nothing to be desired.

In a hybrid system, different technologies are combined. The MX enables their optimum interaction, thus optimising the performance and increasing the efficiency of the system. Not only will this reduce heating costs, but also decrease CO2 emissions.

Cooling over the heating circuit

But the DeltaSol® MX Plus is not limited to heating – cooling applications are within its functional range, too. By means of up to 5 extension modules, up to 7 heating circuits can be controlled and, in combination with a heat pump, used for cooling as well. With humidity sensors, a dew point calculation for avoiding condensation can be implemented.

Connectivity

But the RESOL DeltaSol® MX Plus is not only a versatile multifunction controller but also a real network professional. When it comes to connectivity, the MX Plus is a real allrounder. Internet connection can be established via LAN or WLAN.

Additionally, the controller offers a WLAN access point, so e.g. a service technician can access the MX Plus from their mobile device without needing access to the customer network.

Parameterisation from any mobile device

The Web interface offers different functions, convenient and mobile:

• Access to VBus.net, the Web portal for visualising and evaluating your system data
• Single-value parameterisation – adjust and configure your controller settings

Single-value parameterisation is done in the same menu structure as on the controller itself, with a clean GUI that adapts to the device in use.

Of course, the controller also has the RESOL-specific VBus® interface. This field bus enables the connection of a broad range of practical accessories from room control units to extension modules, the latter being hardware extensions that add further relay outputs and sensor inputs to the MX Plus.

Fit for the building management system

The MX Plus is optimally prepared for the connection to a building management system. It masters the Modbus/RTU, Modbus/TCP and BACnet/IP communication protocols and is thus suitable for a large number of existing networks. For Modbus/RTU connection there is a dedicated interface.
